We arrive 1 hour before closing. The staff were polite and welcomed us. There were hot soups that tasted homemade. After driving all day in the cold rain they were revitalizing. Fresh breads were the perfect combination. The steak was juicy. There was a cornucopia of salad makings. To top it off, ice cream with your choice of toppings. I will definitely return.
The service was incredibly slow. It took over an hour to get our food after we ordered on a day that wasn't even remotely busy. We were one of six seated tables in the restaurant. Half of the tables were already served and it still took an incredibly long time. The whole time I was there I couldn't even find the waitress to get a refill on my drink.
Food good but too SALTY. Worst Waitress we ever had at Hoss's. They are generally very pleasant and helpful. Maybe she was having an off day!
Great family option. Lots of variety at the salad/soup/desert bar for everyone. Not high quality food but good value. 4 stars if I had picky young eaters.
Good was great and so was the service! Loved the selection on the soup and salad bar. So many soups to try. Even had Mac n cheese. I honestly could have just gotten that and been completely satisfied! Got the shrimp also. It was so good! Will go back if we're back out there!
